Zeus presents Snoopy (un-emulated) for the C64, an odd little game from the golden era of C64 gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.

Year of release: 1984

Guide Snoopy across the many hazards without dying, that’s about it really lol.
Funny but crap at the same time and can be excused for being basic as it’s from 1984, there are 20 screens in total and for every loop yu pass the games exceeds in speed to the point it’s insane and unplayable but thanks to an invincibility cheat I’m able to show all of the game to the point the game ends on a blank white screen.

I hope all you retro gaming fans enjoy this upload enough to sub and possibly consider donating a small fee via the Paypal icon as this helps me to keep the channel growing.

Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you’re watching the real thing.
I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any.
Please check out my channel ( dedicated to gamers who loved the games of yesteryear.

Switch to 480p for best video quality and feel free to leave comments on my channel and vid’s.

Keeping the memory of the C64 and it’s cool games alive!!!

  • The frustration and anger we had every time we lost in these games.

  • Was playing this as little kid at school on the schools computer during lunchbreaks, I had to ask the teacher first ofc… 8 years…. I was always anxious to play it

  • 3:58 From 3 lives to -7,163 lives. Okay.

  • The soundtrack in this game is worse than Miami Vice. Not only does it get really boring after a while, but it seems to sound very off sync to the actual song it's trying to play.

  • No Inspiration

  • This is amazing.
The lives just don't work properly.
    You finished the game.

    ***you crashed the game

  • I honestly liked this game back then.

  • This game used to annoy the shit out of me. Anyway, thumbs up from me.

  • 👍

  • video games might make people violent if they have to listen to this fucking insufferable BGM!!!

  • 20:25 amazing tactic!

  • I wish I had a dime for every old c64 game that used an old ragtime tune. The Entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag were the most common ones. What a strange game. Certainly inspired by Smurf but it also seems to have been inspired by PCP.

  • I thought this would be Snoopy the Cool Computer Game, which I think had a C64 version.

  • Happy Christmas matey. Ah yes I remember the Young Ones game too.

  • He has more lives than a cat and pulls a Michael Jackson in reverse turning black.

Music speedup at 7:51 is hilarious! Well played Zeus (and Snoopy!), enjoy your xmas dinners and we'll reminisce again about Young Ones and Sledge Hammer on the other side!

  • There doesn’t appear to be anything acknowledging United Feature Syndicate, Inc. as being the rights holders to Peanuts™, which suggests that this is an unofficial game that presumably the writers did not have permission to make.

Floating skulls? In a game about Snoopy?!

  • I remember playing this =)

  • Ah snoopy… I never persevered in the game. Played it probably 1/2 an hour, got bored and never touched it again. There are some games on the c64 that are too hard, repetitive, neurotic or induce a joystick breaking experience be it by the game itself or throwing the stick at the wall out of frustration with joy. lol. But I do remember C. Kramer one game by him I truly enjoyed as a six year old kid was "Topgrafie Europa" which teaches the locations, names of cities, towns, regions and rivers of Europe by flying around in a helicopter. Less frustrating game too.

Sprites doubling wasnt necessary here, they could switch sprite banks at raster interrupts. But being so early c64 game, its forgivable.

  • I thought this was so good when I was little

  • Another childhood classic of mine, fun little game 🙂 Merry Christmas, Zeus 🙂
