Copying your Uplay, Steam, Epic or Origin games to your new computer rather than re-downloading them can save you a lot of time and get you back gaming again much more quickly. Re-downloading your games to your new gaming PC or laptop can take hours or even days if you have a really slow internet connection. Thankfully there is a way to copy your games from your old PC and get yourself gaming again much more quickly. To copy your games over there are a couple little tricks you’re going to need to know though. In this video I go over 4 of the most popular game launchers out there right now; namely, Uplay (Ubisoft), Steam (Valve), Epic Games and Origin (E.A. aka Electronic Arts). Each company/game launcher requires you do things a little differently in order to get your copied games to work properly without having to re-download anything and I’m going to show you what those little tricks are. So just sit back, relax and enjoy the show. all i want to do is to download rainbow six siege that i bought from steam to download it from origin not steam i havent purchased the game on origin but i want to download the game on origin which i obtained on steam because steam sucks ok their servers are garbage i get 5mb/s on origin and 900kb on steam and yes i have changed the download servers and the limit but still it just sucks help me

I am trying to use this guide to install steam games but after I created the folders and go to Steam and hit install it says discovering existing files for said game but after that´s done it starts downloading Steamworks Common Redistributables and when it finished downloading it proceeds to download the entire game. Hi Maraksot78, I have the 4 game launchers on my C Drive, but have all games on my 2nd D Drive (an old 5400 HD). I just purchased a new SSD Drive to replace my current D Drive (where all game data is located). As per your video, I will Copy all the data folders to new SSD drive and follow your other steps. However, I don’t need to reinstall Game launchers correct since I am only transferred games data folders from old HD to new SSD, correct?
